Shit see i didn't mean to send that yet.
Let's cut to the chase David
What do you want.

No I will not be acting as a broker for you to sell an engine that is no longer the fresh known quantity it was 5 years ago. Who knows the condition now. Could be siezed for all I know.
No I will not be shipping it for free. I don't care if that was the original agreement, I also don't remember offering you unlimited free storage indefinitely but since you've taken advantage of me in that respect I think we're more than even on that front.
In fact here's the deal. This is my reasonable offer to resolve this transaction once and for all. Ill give you until the official 5 year anniversary (10/10/2020) to get this thing picked up or ill consider it officially abandoned.

To make myself crystal clear, I think you've been an idiot about this, buying a super rare ultra low mile engine and then leaving it to rot for half a decade.

Actually I tried to ship it once. Gave you my commercial shipping address as requested. You responded that you would do it and then failed to do so. I have the email to prove it. Would you like me to post it up for everyone to see or should we resolve this some other way?

I’m not sure what your attachments are supposed to show, but they’re not working. By all means give it another try as I’m sure it will be interesting to see. Since you haven’t responded to any of my emails, voicemails, or PMs, I can only surmise that you want this to play out in the court of public opinion. That’s your call.

Here is my attachment. Failure to ship as agreed on the 19th of October 2015. This was right after I bought the engine. You were off to Uwharrie and that took precedent. No worries there.

But you never shipped it. I checked with my shop a month later and they hadn’t heard or seen anything from you. I called you up and you said you had been busy and would take care of it. I had no problem with that as I was in no hurry. I didn’t circle back for two years. At no time did I ever think that you were letting the engine sit out to rot in an unprofessional way. I would never think that to be your style.

Then Jay Stahl was interested in buying the engine. It was perfect at that point according to you. He eventually passed, but at no time was there any discussion of there being a problem with it being stored improperly or at great inconvenience to you. It’s all in black and white in the emails. Shall I put all these emails up or can we just work this out as grownups?

your threat is worthless since i already made it clear my comfort level having it out here in the open

i also do not give two shits what emails you produce.

where were you the past few years? clearly the engine isn't important to you, or at least wasn't then. I doubt that it even is now, you just feel some kind of way because you know you are stupid and you have fucked up. Engines do not take well to sitting still for years on end.

You know what, fuck you and your pussy footing, passive aggressive bullshit comments. I stored the engine immediately after the sale in a manner to keep it safe and ready to go in a timely manner. Even while you were radio silent for years at at time I kept replacing tattered tarps and coverings and eventually moved it into the back of the barn, where it has sat since. A dirt floor barn in an unbelievably humid environment. But better than being outside getting rained on. Still who knows whats happened while you spend years casually forgetting about it. Rust in cylinders, on the valves, who knows the amount of condensation that has accumulated in the crankcase. Not to mention mice? Do we get them here? Sometimes yes. Hell, I bet even the pristine cast aluminum parts have turned nasty chalky white while you were off thinking about god knows what.

Save your fucking screen shots and copy and pasting pal. I do not give a fuck. You have my proposal, If I were you I would be making travel plans to come get your shit ASAP or finding someone with a pickup to come get it before I get really pissed off and set it at the side of the road while your deadline approaches. You left me holding the bag without a word for years, I don't owe you a fucking thing, but you have my offer and I suggest you figure something out.

Personally, I hope you drag your feet some more and I get the satisfaction of making a live streaming video of this unclaimed property getting sold for pennies as scrap.
