Truck is ROW 1985 LR110 with Wipac Led lights all around.
Installing a trailer wiring harness.
Does anyone know if there are issues splicing in the turn indicator wiring with LED lights? I can't imagine there would be, but figured I would ask before rather than ask when I have jacked up my lights.
I am using a Curt taillight wiring converter.
Thanks
Mark

You shouldn't have to splice as you probably have additional connectors at the rear, right rear, inside behind the metal covers.

Yup. The wiring SHOULD be as follows:

Running Lights red/black and/or red/orange

Stop lights Green/purple

Left indicator green/red

Right indicator green/white

Rear fog red/yellow

Reverse green/brown

Test to be sure before you do anything permanent. There is also this....

For Petes sake do not those supid blue (3M) crimp things, use proper bullets. There should be enough room in each rubber connector behind the right hand metal cover if it's still there?

Yes those, but watch the diameter of those, most are 4mm where the oem crimp/solder ones are 4.7 mm ish. If you use the 4mm ones you will have to squeeze the connector a bit, not to much as they snap pretty easily.

If you are into these older LR's for the long haul I suggest you get a crimp tool and a selection of crimps and connectors. I get mine from British Wiring.

Good luck.
