Howdy
Just discovered a small puddle of diesel under the truck and a wet underside/rear on my injector pump. Pipe connections seem dry.
I have ordered the viton o ring kit and with some good write ups, will get after it.
Question.
Any issues or problems that can arise if I keep driving it while leaking-further damage or the like. Besides smelly puddles and wasted fuel.

Thanks

Will probably be back as I tackle the job.

I doubt anybody is going to say "its fine just drive".

It's fine just drive...

With a caveat if the need exists to do so - the fuel waste and associated accumulation of muck in the engine bay is the only short term risk to the engine. Eventually you will loose more fuel than you can use and performance will go down but the engine will keep on running until it can't get pressurized fuel.

My injection pump specialist said basically the same thing as above and then added " just get it done before next winter." Apparently the seals get worse in cold weather or the mix of diesel gets thinner? Not sure but I took his advice anyway.
