I'd heard of Britannica Restorations in Quebec quite some time ago. Recently I noticed the fellow was posting in the LS thread on the other site and curiosity got me looking @ a couple of his youtube videos. Because the guy is doing exactly what we do only 1000 miles North of us I find myself watching more of his videos. Seems like the same things that irritate the hell out of me touch him as well.

This one definitely struck a nerve on the parts quality and time lost that you cannot bill for looking up part no's and shopping for parts for a customer rig.

I am a fan of his videos, informative and entertaining . He covers a lot of topics and since I’m a visual learner his videos help. he has a good series on door repair.

I've watched a few of this guy's videos, they're pretty good. Some of them lead me to believe he has bodies in his basement, informative either way

Good videos. I like the 110 ones. You need to hire a part timer who was a former parts manager for a dealer in the relevant period. ;)
Of course, that does nothing to help quality (which can be crap even in genuine boxes).

His videos are great. Wealth of knowledge and his practical approach to most problems is great. I have one of his clutch forks waiting to go in.

I started keeping almost all my OE parts, like calipers and alternators, for rebuild someday when I have more time.

What he says about Chinese material quality is absolutely true. I work for a manufacturer that actively audits raw material suppliers for fear they might mix in cheap Chinese crap. It would be great to keep this Chinese tariffs war going long and hard IMO and move off of China as much as possible.

Didn't know he was still around. I bought a disco 200tdi from him years ago that I put in my old 110. I'll have to check out the videos.

Interesting videos. I watched the one about the doors and his discussion about rust and the weep holes in the bottoms. My left door is original (I think) and no weep holes. The passanger side has been replaced and has weep holes.
