How do you install a Boost wheel on a ROW rear door spare tire mount?

I recently switch wheels/tires on my 1992 D90 to Boost wheels with 265/75/16 BFG All Terrains.
What do I need to get/do to allow a Boost to fit on the factory rear door spare tire carrier?
I searched but could not find the answer..

Thanks in advance!

Put a steel wheel lug nut all the way down the thread (or however far is necessary) then use a rear shock upper mount washer with the flat side out. Put the wheel on against this and then use the alloy wheel lugnuts to retain it.

My door carrier has a lot more thread. There are half nuts behind the wheel that you adjust to set the spacing of the wheel from the door.

As listed above, use a steel wheel nut. Also get a swing away carrier it’ll save your door and hinge mounting points.
good luck

On the D1, the nuts to hold the spare tire are special, already have a washer made onto them, to help spread the load. Might be an option. The alloy wheels are designed to mount flush to the hub, in the truck world this is “hub piloted”. Likely nothing would ever happen, but when pushed against regular steel wheel nuts ( stud piloted) that usually come with the door mount, you could injure the wheel. Do you have three hinges on the door?

The length of the threaded tire bolts are too short for alloy wheels. Just buy a single wheel spacer and presto...you increased the distance away from the wiper and door. That's what I did and it fits perfect with some space to spare. I also have the boost own my 110. And you'll have to remove that middle U mount.

Hey Matthew, I might new 3 of the thin wheel nut spacers for my swing tire rack. I haven't installed it yet but according to Mantec, I think I need it for alloy wheels. Let me know how much you want tor them. Thanks, Eddie
