I have a set as well that been my primary’s and have seen countless projects. I need to run by there this week and get it sorted.

They'll give you store credit $40 plus tax. I bought a some additional deep impact sockets, extensions etc.

So what is everyone going to replace theirs with?
Jimmy,

while researching the parts sources for 4HP22, I came across this solution:

Come to think of it, it is not that much different from me popping a third member into the rear axle yesterday. I have a lot of cut wood.

I bought a set of Pro-Lift stands from Walmart for $45. They have an extra pin to lock them in place. For an inexpensive set of 6 ton stands I like them.

At Land Rover Manhattan someone stole wheels off of an Infiniti (inside the building) and left it on batteries. We figured it was one of the lot porters since they put the car out of the way.

I was going to order some Hein-Werner jack stands, but they seemed to be out of stock most place. I can't bring myself to pay $250 for a pair of Snap On jack stands that are almost certainly not made by Snap On. After doing some looking around I decided to go with two sets of Esco jack stands. I bought 2 with a flat rubber pad, and two with the normal axle post.

I see the replacement Jack stands for the faulty Jack stands are now faulty as well. Maybe time to look elsewhere. I am happy with my torin's so far.

We had this discussion in a work chat room the other day and one of my coworkers suggested these jackstands:

Made in Denmark. And you thought they only made tiny little cookies and cinnamon rolls!!!

I wonder if there is a US distributor for these.

Stumbled across this today. Appears useful where stability is a concern.
