Hard to find part: mini wedge bulb socket

Anyone know a part number or where to find the mini wedge bulb sockets that fit two outside (climate control) bulbs to the binnacle? They don’t seem to be the more common twist-locks used elsewhere in the binnacle. See pics below. One of mine has lost both tabs (and the bulb condom) and the other has one tab remaining.

Any generic options or creative solutions to keep those bulbs located in their holes?

Thanks Chris. I've been getting an order of dash LEDs from superbrightleds.com but they don't have this socket for the dash. It looks like they have the twist-lock style but that looks too big to fit this hole.

It's the same part that the RRC uses in the climate control lighting. Paul Grant is my go to for used parts or you can try new here... http://www.roverjaguarparts.com/oe-land-rover/adu4903l When removing them, use a heat gun to gently soften & avoid braking the tabs.

Regarding the twist lock LEDs, I tried them in my RRC binnacle & they did not work. Did not lock down tight enough. Bulb style was B8.7D

Do you plan on adding LED to the bases? If so, which bulb will you use?

Thanks Kevin. Yes I am switching everything I can over to LED. I bought the 74 LED Bulb -3- SMD LED Miniature Wedge Retrofit bulb from superbrightleds.com (Pdt # 74-xHP3-RVB):

They look like they are a direct replacement.

Please update when installed.
My experience was less than stellar (binnacle, dome and reverse) on a RRC.... possibly wrong bulb choose but who knows.

I will update but at the rate I am going it's going to be weeks. Just not enough spare time for the rover right now....

Was your issue that the bulbs didn't work at all or not well enough? I've heard some criticisms that some of the LEDs can be too bright.

The twist lock in the binnacle did not work. I do not think they made proper contact.
The ones I tried in the reverse lights were not any brighter than the uprated bulbs I use so it was not worth the price.
Dome lights were bright but I did not like the quality of light and they would sometimes stay dimly lit when switched off (may not be the bulbs fault being a Rover).

After looking everywhere for the stock part (ADU4903L) and falling short, I got creative. I bought several sockets that from superbrightleds.com that fit the miniature wedge LED bulbs mentioned above. Part number for the sockets is T1-3/4 Wedge Base Socket-Wired (T1.75-SW): https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...kets/t1-34-wedge-base-socket-wired/1151/2738/

The sockets don't fit into the 8 mm square openings in the climate control section of the binnacle without modification. To make them fit I trimmed them slightly with a razor blade. The square notches were trimmed into a triangle and shaved down. I also shaved a little around the circular base. Note: I recommend buying a couple of these sockets and practicing trimming... I will likely take a couple tries to get it right. Now the modified sockets can fit with the triangular ends in the corners of the square hole and then twisted into place. This isn't a perfect solution but I think it will hold. Road testing still underway...

So i resorted to Gorilla Tape to make them stay in the holes - can't see it and it works.

I tried tape a while back but mine was too whimpy. Looking good now. Also finally installed my new binnacle support and some new VDO gauges!! It doesn't have so much glare in person.
