I feel slighted for info on this one. I guess tires were literally the actual message...

Sorry I duplicated that post above. Didn't realize your link was the full video.

Interesting ... " But, the Grenadier will still have to differentiate itself from the new Defender, which starts about $10,000 south of the $53,500 mark..."

Ummm, no it doesn't?

I'm still curious about this ... not "making a deposit at the BMW dealer" curious, but curious.

Then again, it's really only a reasonable replacement for our '97SW, so it's unlikely that we actually need one...???

It would be more than 100,000 $ Canadian once it hits the shore here. That's great since you won't see everyone are driving it like Jeep and future Bronco.

I see BMW dealers as the only way for this to hit the marketplace. But will they really want to see it on their lots? It doesn't fit into anything they currently sell.
Wonder if every single unit (at least in the US) will have to be custom ordered and drop shipped to the nearest dealer.

I expect it will be quite a draw - and many will be traded in on X5's.

It will give BMW something like a G Wagon on the Merc lots. Yes, different vehicles yet the G Wagon is pretty different from what is usually on a Merc lot.

Honestly as long as it's not Land Rover/Jaguer group then I'm happy. Too many snubby salemen there. I wore a short with flip flop during summer time, they didn't even talk to me while I wait for them. I bought a X5 and E400 at other dealer instead.

I believe that’s their plan to keep your minds interested and engaged. Actually anticipating it versus showing part of a silhouette for years...

I think the priorities thus far have been in the right places. I'm 99% sure there will be seats, a radio and some sort of cladding between me and the metal.

Also - I love seeing the manufacturing site progress. Glad to hear there will be a focus on quality.
