Bet on LHD Grenadiers the auto shifter gets moved to the left and the low range moves to the right.
The LHD interior pictures already show that. Unless they are just negative images showing the reverse. I haven't looked at many pictures yet except on my phone to be able to tell if they are real pictures or reversed.

This is the first time in a really really long time I'm actually excited about a new vehicle. I think the interior is awesome. The design is one complete vision, throughout. Really nice to see a complete design that's not all digitization. My only concern is the BMW engine and transmission. However, given the boxiness, and dimensions and ladder frame you could put anything into it, if the BMW mechanical and electrical components are the weakest link.

I see a real replacement for my D2. Might even consider selling my old 110 if it's that good. I had the chance to see a prototype when it came to a local Ineos plant, but I didn't. Now I wish I did. The interior is amazing. A real game changer. I've watched the stupid video a few times already. Feel like a kid waiting for christmas.

Pretty much sums it up. The interior with the dual sunroofs, the switches on the ceiling, the overall style -- exactly what I would have done. My brother's and I used to sketch out cool cars like this, and try to make them in Lego form, and always thought this is how the ultimate vehicle should be.

Pro: an actual parking brake lever. Not pneumatic.

Negative: the damned BMW lever... I hated my 328 lever and fell in love today with my assistant's XC90 gearshift lever. Nothing beats mechanical detents. See switch comments above. Push-button tranny levers kill. See, e.g. Jeep.

Is that an actual key??

Saw footage of it on the course at Goodwood yesterday, looks awesome!!!

The V8 Nufender 90 was impressive.

Ineos may end up as the most expedition worthy new truck. Choosing not to go with air suspension speaks to that. I wouldn't bet against that as an option in the future though. People willing to spend a fortune on a shiny old Defender may think twice when they see it, and they should. I don't think any new vehicle could be as suitable for expeditions as an old Defender, but the vast majority won't ever be used for that.

Although this is a month old, one of these guys stalked Ineos to get a chance to crawl around the 001 prototype when it was in VA. Some interesting and honest commentary.

Want one. Those pics are great.

Just wish the price was a bit more in reach. I bet they won’t come up used for a good 5 or 6 years of hard use. But this would be the vehicle that would do it all for my wife and I as we push the kids out and want to tow a camper and go off road as well. I’m trying to convince her that a BMW 3 Series, Grenadier, and the old Rover would make for a perfect stable at our income level. Of course, some kind of 911, would really be the ultimate compliment to an Old Rover and Grenadier. I fully expect some of you to go that direction so I can live vicariously through your posts.

The BMW engine has the timing chain and the oil filter mounted at the back of the engine. I assume Ineos has to keep that arrangement?
