Not sure about the room situation left at the hotel. I just switched as some rooms had opened up. I had an Airbnb as a backup but will give it up unless anybody needs it? We can coordinate me cancelling/transferring officially with the owner. Just wanted to pose the option to anybody on the fence.

So, assuming there even still spots available, what's to do that I can use to entice my wife to come along? She likes the Defender and Land rovers in general, but she's not really in to trail riding, and would be more comfortable at an ABNB than in a camp ground. Any ideas on how to sell this one?

Take a look at the Hope Lodge. It didn’t exist 25 years ago, but it’s seriously impressive even in pictures.

I'm bringing my 3 kids and wife, there's an indoor water park a half mile away if that helps?

We’re having another work/event prep weekend in May. Camping recommended as not only is SUNY Cortland holding its graduation that weekend, but also a wedding just booked the lodge.

May 12-14. DM me if you are coming.

Thanks

That's weinie roast weekend....

I know... I was bummed when they announced the dates

Anyone can join Thursday/Friday at Greek Peak and then head over Friday night/Saturday morning to Weenie Roast too, doesn't hurt to get both in

I’ve been looking for a defender 110 for a while with no success. It seems to me this event would be the perfect place to find one. Would I be able to attend as a spectator with no Land Rover vehicle ? If I show up with my 1965 BMW R27 motorcycle and parked it outside the gate, would I be allowed to go in ? Plus if I find something I like, I could put the bike in the back and drive home with a grin and no bugs in my teeth. Thanks for the consideration.

I believe they will be offering discounted day passes, but Im not sure it's 100% set in stone yet. It's been talked about a few times on the committee calls

Do you want a perfect ‘87 110 County Station Wagon V8 with less than 18,000 miles? Or just kicking tires?

I’m always kicking tires . How do you know if they hold any air. Wanna trade. Ducati D16RR. Number 183 of 300 Imported into the USA. Six miles on the clock. The colors match too. You, Jay Leno, and Tom Cruise would all be proud owners this Moto GP replica.

Awesome day on at Greek Peak yesterday. The RTV courses are almost finished. Many more trails added to the extensive network. I swear you could spend all day on the mountain driving.
JLR joined us and is amazed that people have volunteered to come from as far away as Alabama. JLR has made a major commitment to the event.
Wrapping up the layout of the RTV today. With diggers skidsteers blood and sweat!

Questions?
