GM v6 power steering pump clearance

Hey guys,
was hoping to gather some opinion on how much clearance I need to plan for between my power steering pump/pulley and my power steering box.
My 'first guess' mockup has precisely zero clearance as you can see in the picture.
I do have a bit of play as the transfer case mounting holes are oblong and offer about a quarter inch of rearwards adjustment (I just have to grind off a superfluous tab on the frame that is blocking me from moving the transfer case further back). That should be enough to allow the pully to turn freely without contacting the power steering box.. but it will be super close. Just trying to get an idea if I need to leave myself more room than that

If its the engine I am thinking of, then you might want to reach out to the guy who did the riverport rovers series on Youtube. Made a bunch of videos on his chevy v6 build. Just started another series about his travels across the continent.

Ah yes peter Knowels (?) I think.. that was a big bit of inspiration for this project.. I'm using newer engine, I'm not sure they had the same accessory drive system. I'm also using a discovery power steering box which sits inside the frame rails. I cant quite recall if he did power steering or not but I dont recall him having had to deal with it in the videos

Provide a better photo from the front showing. If there is any forward engine movement (and there will be) it will contact the PS box. I've got a LS1 ( obviously not a V6) and had to relocate the alternator and install a idler pulley to allow the belt to clear the PS box. The alternator was placed to the passenger side on a custom bracket. Before I committed to that arrangement I'd scour the salvage yards for other bracket options.

If I'm just moving the pump I shouldn't need to adjust the pitman arm should I? In fact, if I can move the pump I might not need to move the transfer case at all... Currently I'm looking at moving the whole works back 4" plus whatever clearance I need for the PS pump.
I just haven't been able to google up clear options for moving the pump on this engine. It has a passenger side alternator already and the only thing high on the drivers side is the AC compressor bracket, which I can do without. If I can use LS mounting brackets then I had one in mind that might work

Anyone well versed in belt drive accessory options for this engine. Google just spits out a million and one store links and no useful information when I search for it
