Front Runner Rack Issues

I can't get this rack to lay flat. The seam in the center where the two halves join together just doesn't close tight. It's a small amount, but it's enough to notice that there is a sag in the rack when you look down the length.

Any thoughts? I'm not 100% sure what to do about it.

When I had a front runner rack on my Xterra, I had to call their support. They were very helpful and knowledgeable.

Fitted on what? I am about to get one for the RRC and the middle mounts are a differant height. Could you not Shim the mounts with a bit of plastic tubing under the foot?

Have you looked at Brownchurch for a RRC rack? Just an opinion yet feel it looks the best and certainly is functional. Mine is hot dipped galvanized with a black paint finish. Not going to rust for many years.
