Exhaust?

What are folks doing with exhaust on the variois GM swaps.
Can a rover v8 y-pipe with cats be made to work or do you need to go custom back to the single pipe?

My particular case is a chev 262 with zf4hp22 and lt230.

I dont have a stock y pipe to muck around with and I'm not keen on buying more parts for the junk pile!

I'm not sure in BC if you're required to have emissions inspection or not. if you aren't you certainly don't need to run a catalytic converter on that particular motor. And like others have said a custom shop would be a lot easier

You’re right. B.C. got rid of their “air care” policy and check stations. You could keep it simple and straight pipe it. I guess it depends on your neighborhood, or lack there of ;-)
