Yes that's correct and also stated in post 9.
yeah, and even though I'm not going to travel right now..... I don't like being told by Dare County North Carolina that I am forbidden access to my property.

A fellow we know wanted access to go examine/repair some roof damage on his house from the storm last week and he was told flat out no access/ no matter what.

Is that due to out-of-state plates and license?

They are checking licenses on the bridges. Residents only. My Boss is down in Hatteras at their rental house and just stayed after the beach got locked down. If they leave the island they are not allowed back.

The Hospital in Nags Head is pretty small. They are not equipped for any sort of outbreak.

Lets hope there isn't much of an outbreak down that way.
A few cases could infect the entire area.
The ferry is still running to Ocracoke,
I'll bet the residents have mixed feelings about that.

You all understand that the coronavirus-19 is already in your community whether you live on the Outer Banks or downtown NYC. It's not like there's somewhere that is unaffected that you can go and be away from it.

So far there are no confirmed cases in Tonga and Samoa and they have closed their borders.

That’s complete Bull Shit. If you own property and pay taxes to that state and community that’s ridiculous.

yeah, we're not happy. We pay considerable property taxes there. Residents have filed a federal lawsuit.

I heard yesterday that State police are preventing people from crossing the state line at WV/VA border . Not sure if that's true or not...

Agreed, it is ridiculous, but dangerous times require strong measures.
Imagine what would happen if you were infected and passed the virus on to people who later died.
It's a real thing that is happening every day and the seriousness is not to be taken lightly.
Communities want to protect themselves.

Glad PA/MD border not closed as had to make a bootlegger run for wine today. PA liquor stores shut down.

Visitors I agree. Property owners have a right to shelter in their homes imo.
