Door bottom repair

I watched this video and the door bottom repair kits at YRM do not have the drain holes or the recessed area in the back like the ones that this guy recommends. He said he got it from The Paint Man, but that website directs you to Rovers North, where I can't find anything like these. Any idea where to get replacement door bottoms (preferably galvanized) that have the drain holes like this dude is using?

Its best to cut up another door and harvest good sections of channel as these aftermarket ones fit very poorly. In my experience nobody is making channel that's worth the money.
As for drain holes IDK just poke a hole like Matt suggests. You really want to doeskin the door, repair the frame, get the frame galvanized, then put the skin back on.

My doors were like Swiss cheese and I ended up replacing them. But I have the cheap early split doors that are The same as a series 3. If I roll up doors or something later I probably would have done something differently and tried to salvage the originals

I bought some sp 4x4 a few years ago and didn’t end up using them. You can have them but pay shipping. Probably going to be like 40-50 I bet. PM me if you’re interested.

Yep, pull the skin, fix, dip, reskin, paint ... that's the recipe.

But test fit numerous times during the process. I jumped ahead too far one time and ended up with doors all the wrong shape.
