Disk Brake Conversion, Factory Wheels Won't Fit - 93 NAS 110

My 110 has the later alloy Land Rover wheels that were on the NAS 90s with spacers installed. I want to go back to the factory white, steel wheels. Problem I've run into is that the rear drums have been replaced with disks, not a problem, but now the factory steel wheels won't fit without the spacers, the problem.

Is there a work around for this? Are there other disk calipers that will fit with the factory white steel wheels? I'm trying to avoid using spacers with the factory steel wheels. IMHO, they don't look "right" with the spacers.

Thanks in advance.

Im surprised you're having fitment issues with steel wheels, where are they hitting? Zeus lists that they should be compatible "must be fitted with 16inch 6j profile wheels or larger to accommodate the kit

Wouldn't the stock wheels be 16x5.5F?

Maybe this is the problem, might be the wrong disks on this conversion but I'm really not sure. The wheels are the factory steel, ANR1534, and the calipers touch the entire wheel. It also appears that the disk would also touch the wheel if it would seat all the way on the hub. More pics are attached.

I thought that rear calipers were single piston? Are these fronts being used on the rear ?

These are Zeus calipers, bit of an odd situation. A disc brake swap/upgrade. Im wondering if only wolf wheels would fit.. Normal 110 upgrade would fit without issue

Interesting, didn't even know this was a thing. For the record I also have a disc swapped rear on my 83/84 110. Wide hubs, drum length shafts with front rotors and front calipers on red winches brackets. I'm running 16x8 aftermarket wheels without issue.

Nice to learn about something else out there too.

I didn't know about it either until this post, recognized Zeus as they do several conversions.

Others have touched on this, my rear disk brake calipers are dual piston but the ones I see on Rovers North for the rear are single piston. I would assume that the single piston calipers are smaller but don't know for sure.

I would like to know the diameter of the rotors as well. Hopefully they are smaller than the ones on mine so they would fit the factory steel wheels.

Can anyone measure their rear rotors that were converted to disk brakes? Just speculating, but starting to think the rear conversion on mine are actually from a front disk brake set.

I can just imagine the choice words that were spoken immediately after you did the first one and offered up the wheel to see how it fit......
