Desert Flying

No reading a book on that flight! Crazy how much movement a smaller plane has. I kept thinking how videos never capture the "feeling"of being there. I was feeling this one. Thanks for sharing!

This makes me want to get back into it. I flirted with it again last summer, actually got the biannual done, but I felt so far behind on other projects that I felt I should not (re)start something new.

Keep posting this stuff! Maybe you’ll convince me otherwise!

You seem to be liking the kit fox, but do you ever wish you had four seats? I always thought my next plane really needed to have the practicality of four seats.

I learned tailwheel on a cub. Instructed in a Taylorcraft. The Kitfox seems like the 21st century version of these.

That looks like fun. I had an ACA Scout for a while, that I sold after the twins were born. Do miss that kind of flying, just something about tailwheel with a stick vs. a yoke.

As Cub owner, I can attest that anything with a radio, starter and actual heat is pure luxury. I wouldn't have it any other way though 9 months out of the year when I am cruising around with the door open

Very cool!

My daughter and I are following Trent Palmer and his Kitfox on the Youtube.
They seem like very fun airplanes.
