Defender (roof) crossbars

Looking for a set of roof crossbars to hold me over until I can afford/need a real rack. What's out there?

For a 110 so 2 but maybe 3?

I'd need the gutter clamps I think, unless that's the same way it mounted to a D1?
Looks like it is by googling around, this might work. What would you want for it? Got any pics? specifically of the feet?

I used Thule 953 (?) hi foot mounts and they work well even with a ribbed roof defender

I would think High Mounts as the Disco roof is pretty tall, I'll drag them out and check them.

I have a set of 953s on my D1, and they give plenty of space. I also bought an older pair of Thule towers (supposedly 953 but not) that are only 8” tall, so I had to shim them to work with the 953s. They actually fit the roofline of my buddy’s D130 high capacity cab better than the 953s. You might find them on eBay since they’re definitely older. The load bars fit the same. I can attach a picture tomorrow if you want reference.

I have a couple of Frontrunner crossbars on my Disco 2 that work well. I didn't want to pay for a full rack, either. I have an awning mounted on them, and use them to carry lumber, etc.

Another vote for the Front Runner bars. I have a set on my 110. They are very well made with a solid gutter mount.

They have a channel running down the middle that will take a hex bolt, that I screw the eye nuts into that take tie-downs for strapping things to the bars.

hey @Roverman2010 just checking in on which ones are yours and what you'd want for them shipped to 19038. Otherwise I can look into the frontrunners as another option

Thule that came off of a disco1, with locks and key. I paid $75 for them.
