Assume your using the standard zf pas reservoir. I recycled mine off my D1. Should be plenty if those out there.

Yeah, I can find these parts new. I am searching for used first.

The bracket I have for the PS Res. has horizontal holes for mounting, I need the one with vertical holes.

And my radiator surround is in good condition, but it is the kind that is made for A/C, so it sticks way out. I want to have a standard look, or use the headlight guards to even out the look of the front end. Total. Vanity. ;)

The top radiator brackets are between $45 and $60 each! ...so I'll either be making my own, or finding some used ones.

Yep - in PDX today but you would need to come up and pick through the used parts racks yourself...

Oh and make your own PS reservoir mount - modify your disco version

I have an idea of how to make this happen, but for a few bucks I thought I might find a used one someplace. New is cheap too. The main thing I need second-hand is the radiator braces. Those are stupid expensive for what they are.

YRM have some nice galvanized brackets for 19 pounds plus shipping, just use a stick to prop the bonnet up lol that's cheap.

The bonnet prop is easy, I'm going to cut the top off it and fit it to the wing. I just need the brackets for the 300Tdi that come from the front. One way or another, I'll get it secure, even if temporarily till I can get a proper set in hand.

I browsed their site, but I may need to give them a call, especially for this part:

I need the fresh air intake for the right side wing to the heater box.

Doesn't the wing have to come off to get that thing in there?

I say that because I know you finally wrestled the wings back on.
I think I put my right front wing on/off 3x before I got it right and remembered the air intake thingie.:D

It might, but that's for down the road. Also, that side goes on much easier than the other! And in getting them done, I did learn the technique of figuring out how to get each bolt hole to line up properly.

Are you using the new method of fixing the outer skins to the top panel? Still using all those little nut and bolts?

MXC2932 bolt, 302532 speed nut.

What we need here is a tips and tricks page.
