Shameless plug... our Defender 130 was featured in issue 39 of Recoil Magazine. Here's a link to the online article: http://www.recoilweb.com/defenders-of-the-faith-142484.html

Live fire exercise coming soon.

Thanks again to javelinadave for making all of this possible!! And you too John at Knightsbridge Overland, the seat covers were perfect!

This truck is super badass and with the M2 it can lay down some serious smack. I'm looking forward to the live fire trip to the range.

Well that's unique!

What's the story on the windscreen config?

.

Thats reminds me of earlier LR military vehicles like this 1990 Recoiless rifle http://www.dunsfoldcollection.co.uk/img/gallery/90-gunship-106mm-ex-demo-200tdi/large/1.jpg which had a 106mm rifle that lay down between the windshields during transportation.

My favorite quote from the article is this one....

"Think of vintage Land Rovers like mail-order brides. Since many are sourced from overseas, what may look appealing on the outside is really hiding lots of problems you won?t discover until after the money has changed hands. "

.

The center section supports the roof weight while the windscreens fold out of the way for target engagement. Passenger side has a SAW mount integrated into the roll cage too.
