Having had one of my very very old BFG KM's delaminate and fail this weekend, I know the time has come to stop procrastinating and replace them all.
One concern however is the way my current size 255/85-16 Is fast going the way of the dinosaur. While 285/75 is the logical replacement, because I have the rear wheel arch extra tank, that space is nominally already taken. I've already gotten the 30mm spaces fitted. I never had clearance problems before the spacers which push the tires out nicely.
I've just started toying with going to 265-75 and losing that half inch of clearance.
Thoughts?
