Dash speaker mounting template?

Anyone ever take measurements or have a template of the factory mounting location of the dash speakers? I know they need to be shallow with spacers. I just don't wanna have any wiring to the doors.

Aorry not an answer as I am not sure about what you are asking . I assume you are asking about a Defender dash? I was not aware of dash mounted factory speakers... but here is my solution. Centre channel speaker in the ashtray slot and two 2.5 inch full range speakers in the dash top. Hope it helps a bit.

No worries. Pretty much my truck didn't come with a radio. The factory location on many have been under the dash. I was just looking to see if there was a set mounting position

I used 2 of these on top of each other for the passenger side and 1 on the drivers side to fit a 4" Alpine driver. no clearance issue with the motor.

Aha! Lower dash. There’s nothing much to worry about where you cut the holes. Eye balling it will work fine. 4 inch speakers are what is usually fitted. If that helps. I’d measure for you but I have AC so the holes won’t be the same.
