Coyote Swap Defender

Hi everyone,

I was hoping someone with experience swapping a coyote onto a defender to tell me a bit more about it? I've seen the LoF conversion page.

The sorts of things I'd like to know are what transmission would be suitable (preferably a manual T56..?) A transfer box from Winchester gears but what ratio? How much power could you run through the standard axles and how much could you run through them with various upgrades (probably from Ashcroft).

Any experience using the Blackbird Industries P38 steering box kit and how does this relate to using a power steering pump on the Coyote?

I'm not planning on doing this I'm just curious to know how it might be done and induce a technical discussion!

i havent seen one done yet , most go LS as its mush more common. you can put 600 HP thorough a stock LT230 and beefed up axles
