Cargo Control?

When loading up the 3-door 110, there's plenty of room for stuff to slide around.

I'm thinking that the "rub bars"...I'm sure there's an official name for them...that are on the vertical surface of the load area could be replaced with some "L-track".

Of course, no one locally stocks this stuff...story of my life..."aint this place is a geographical oddity"...

Thoughts, experiences???

That's pretty cool. I have been toying with installing some D rings in the back of the 90 to keep stuff from sliding around/falling over

I made a plywood floor insert for the D1 with tie down rings....always seemed like they weren't quite in the place they needed to be.

I'm going to have to get some of this track / tie down loops ordered...McMaster / Grainger???

Nice. My Xterra has something like that too. I made a mountain bike rack utilizing it that lets me get 2 inside standing up

Yea maybe that cargo track on one side of the tub would be really useful instead of just attaching D rings.

Exactly...I'd put it on both sides though...I may drag too much crap, er, important stuff along. ;)

I did the D2 lashing ring thing to. As Unfrozen says, they are never in the right spot.

Sure....but my boxes always seem to bounce a bit ;)

In all seriousness the l track stuff is good-I like the individual mounts but the full track works well for flexibility. I have it in the back of my LR3 both along the outside of the cargo area and now as part of the shelf setup I have bolted in.
