They'll mount to most any Defender bumper, winch or non. You'll likely have to drill additional holes forward of the chassis bolts. Here it is on our winch bumper

So much for $789, this is more than a full RTE bumper

You have to read through the whole thread, it's taken some turns. The first post was regarding a final run from the original manufacturer in the UK, where it's cheap to manufacture parts. These are being made in the US, substantially more expensive.

Everyone can decide what route they want to go, whether that’s RTE or wait for an original CT Bar to surface..

This is providing the option for the community for a new high quality Camel brush guard where the reverse engineering, prototyping and jigs are already completed to ensure the fitment and quality is spot on, that this is repeatable and can be made in this short run efficiently.

Indeed everything is more.

After 1 week up I have 3 people who are interested, unfortunately it isnt looking promising on doing the run.

If I had close to 25 people we could make them and have a few extra but it seems the demand isnt where it was, likely from the cost increase from when it started.

I would be in, but what is your timeline? I can't bring her into the US until next July, and overseas shipping would be too expensive.

If you don’t mind me asking is it the material or labor or both driving the price up?
It is both, also being made in the US. The custom box and dunnage is close to $100 alone.

I believe when Zack originally looked into this they were going to be made by Brownchurch who also already is set up to produce and made in the UK where it is cheaper. It was also before Covid drove the prices of labor and raw materials up.

Its also worth noting, these are being produced at a facility that specializes in low volume metal fabrication and powdered at a production house.

Thx. Looks like a well made product.

Update:

I currently have 6 people interested and will be making a total of 10 pieces.

Cost is $1570 per unit w/o shipping for this low of a run, if you would like to have a spot please let me know.

These will be the only 10 produced.

Feel free to reach out with any questions, thank you.
