Bring a Trailer Defender Auction Criticism

I’ve been resisting the urge to dog him out of FaceBook when he posts in whatever defender group we‘re both in. As much as I want to increase awareness about him and his shit trucks, I can’t see the value in a FB passing contest.

Agreed although I did make a comment about this picture.

F me sideways. Alloy lugs on steel wheels.
It’s the only way to protect cheap paint from flaking off when you put the lug nuts back on. The wrench/socket won’t contact the face of the rim as you tighten.

This is cheapfuck skulduggery to avoid having to correctly powder coat steel wheels.

This ain’t right, aside from some restoration f-ups like the bad painting, fabbed cage, etc, it’s got the wrong badge number on it. 1608 belongs to a much later Arles Blue truck. I know that LR was a bit unreliable, but it would be odd that a badge would be 400 numbers out of sequence.

Hah that thing has been for sale for almost a decade now if it’s still the same owner. I used to see it for sale on the street in Williamsburg when we lived there.

You just have to shake your head. Almost too funny to see work by “Mario’s Auto Repair Corp. of Brooklyn, New York”.
