There’s one from motor trend from a few months back as well. Sad to see him getting press but I’m sure it‘s mainly related to him hyping himself.

I see that he also has an article about him and his company in this months Robb Report as well

I read the article. He left out the part where his business was raided by CBP and multiple trucks he imported were impounded. Other than that, a fairly well written piece of journalism.

The “Osprey” went for $118k. For that much I’d want a real VIN. I harbor secret hopes that karma comes back around and some of these well-heeled purchasers sue the shit out of shenaniganizer Defender builders.

118k is totally crazy. but i guess if you want a puma that badly youll pay. kinda like that outrageous terrible heritage edition. reading through the thread whats the owner of ospreys history? any care to summarise? btw hi im new here!

Just wow.

Poor 381/500 appears to be listed at a Nissan dealer for $119k also...

Odd, the comments rip this truck up for being amolested NAS. Does BAT even have their limit? Does this make the AlpineElement even feel bad?

Surprised this comment is still allowed.

Pic #39 of gear knob would indicate LT77.
License plate “PTOWN” must stand for “Pound Town” cause that’s what the modifier deserves – in prison.[\quote]

A ROW 110 pre '07 would have functioning bulkhead fresh air vents. I wouldn't want a Def without them. BAT hasn't posted some comments from me, I guess they were too harsh. Never suggested anyone should go to prison, though. Must be the way you say it.

“my 110 was purchased and set up for the beach as a second vehicle which the garage was extremely small, so store outside in the northeast oceanside or in a heated garage without racks and front bumper. I have retained completely (except for the interior) cage, rack, front bumper, winch, wheels etc…which come with the vehicle and will go back in place perfectly (also stored inside) to bring close to original.....”

While I don’t like the look of this truck I generally don’t care if people are into it themselves. Everyone has their own tastes. What I don’t understand financially is starting with a NAS that has a higher value and ruining that value and the look with all the bolt on bits. To be honest, this build seems lazy to me. They didn’t want to do the drivetrain work and add AC to a ROW so they ruined a NAS.
