Brake pad preference?

I'm due for replacing the pads on my 110 front calipers. It's been three years since the last time I replaced the pads (I only put 5,000-8,000 miles per year on the vehicle) and I don't have record or memory of what I bought last time.

Before I venture into the internet shopping wilderness I would appreciate recommendations on what brand/model pads to consider and vendors. Initial research suggests there is a wide range of options and pricing from genuine to ProLine to EBC to Ferodo and others. My priorities are stopping power and quiet, in that order, and I don't care too much about the dust. What front pads have you had good results with and where is the best place to buy them?

I have 110 calipers on the back of my D1 and NAPA's Disco replacements on the front. With that for reference, I've used Duralasts and NAPAs in the front. The NAPAs have been very good and long-lasting. In the back, I've used Genuine LR when I first installed the 110 calipers. They were quiet but only lasted ~10,000 miles. I now have the ProLines in the rear; they were noisy forever but seemed to have quieted down a bit after 9 months or so.

Stopping power has been good across the board with all those brands, but NAPA seems to be the longest-lasting so far. If I can find a set for the rear, I may do those next time.

Could you please elaborate? It would be helpful to know why and how you formed this opinion. Can you comment on personal experience with performance, durability, noise, other attributes? Especially as compared to other options.

I used centric last time , they were cheap. Have lasted a loooong time.

Front calipers were made by Lockheed. Their pads are my preference.
LOF if aftermarket.

I’ve also used Centric's many times. I drive my 90 daily and put about 15k/yr on my truck.

I've had pretty good luck with the Mintex pads & shoes through Trevor. Price-wise they are middle of the road. They are quiet and seem to be wearing very well. He lists several different Mintex options, I went with the ones listed as "OE".

I had the EBC greenbacks on my 90 and it stopped rather well. I ran genuine on my Disco.

Genuine pads with aftermarket rotors is usually my go-to setup.

I ordered genuine, thanks for the input. Not the cheapest option but brakes are not an area where I want to economize.

Maybe they’re speaking to Price, JK. I generally try stuff on an ad-hoc basis and rarely thrilled to a point that I use the same product again next time. I’m just not that organized.

lately I have been using Pagid they make a lot of OEM pads (including Porsche), never had an issue with them. For rotors I have been buying brembo vented discs which are pretty cheap and great quality. Both sourced from Rock Auto this time.
