These guys have started to make a 200 TDI sump and ladder frame to block gasket. Neiher of these were actually made by Land Rover I don't think.

Item for sale is two new sump gaskets for a Defender 200Tdi, hard to find item. Rectangular shaped gasket sits between Cylinder block and spider plate, remaining gasket fits between spider plate and oil pan.

I could have used those a month ago when I put my 200tdi back together. I may buy a set to have around.

Any leaks so far ?

I haven't had a chance to really drive it yet. I'm having clutch issues. Engine fired right up and ran great for the minute or two I ran it. Starts 100X's easier than the old TD did.

Any advantage of these over just using Rightstuff? Seems expensive (~$45 shipped) For no benefit assuming you clean your surfaces before rightstuff. are their issues just using sealant?

They just started making it so I don't know. I know that the oil pan gaskets always tend to leak so I'm going to put it on my new motor with right stuff

So I actually put it on today both these the ladderframe gasket and the oil pan gasket and they were cut very well. It does slightly overhang the back of the ladder frame and engine block. So after it is fully dried tomorrow I'm going to slice it clean with the razor. I lined up the ladder frame and the engine block with a straight edge.
