Came home to wife saying brake light came on today. 2007 LR3. Found it super wet near rear differential and center bushing. No leaks seen close to calipers or wheels. How does one find the leak and do the repair. Anyone want to share a how to fix or is this a take it to a professional problem

There is a junction block on the top of the axle I believe. If you have never done a brake line replacement, let a shop do it.

It is likely leaking where the lines clip to the body above the rear diff. To verify, crawl under and have someone pump the brake pedal. You will see fluid come out.

Land Rover makes a repair kit where you cut the line closer to the drivers seat and use a coupler to connect them. You will have to flare the factory line where it is cut.

Thanks for your help. Does one have access to technical bulletin showing how to do this repair or maybe the part number for the repair kit. I would like to do it myself with the truck on jack stands if this is possible. I have access to a flare kit. Just always feel better trying to do things with some schematics or written instruction.

thanks for any and all input

There is a bulletin with the part number, but no real instructions. The new line is pre bent and comes with the couplers. You just remove and replace basically. It’s kind of a crappy job to do, so if you can find a shop to do it for a reasonable price i would recommend that

Common issue. They rust right above rear diff. You'll need to run new lines out to each rear wheel. Put unions in where the DS frame rail starts to turn inwards. Just pull heat shield back enough to fit unions. If you've never done brakes pay someone. No fancy LR parts needed.
