Are tailgate brackets handed?

I have one, and need to order another. They're listed separately as MUC8740 and 41 on RN. Is there a difference between them? If so, any idea which one I already have?

Pretty sure thats the left side. The rear-cross member side of the hinges are offset to the RHS, right?

the RH hinge bottom pin is longer and has a hole in it to put a bolt through. this way if the tailgate shifts to the left when on the truck it does not fall out of the hinges. you could use two RH but not two LH.

The pic you posted is a LH hinge
