I keep seeing these hand held laser cleaners advertised on yahoo for less than $50. The price is low enough that it is not a total loss if it doesn't work but I'd rather not waste my hard earned cash either. I'm certain the $1000x units work but does anyone have experience with one of these cheaper units?

it definitely is. The pelican knock-off case has me most intrigued. the whole thing is like 62 lbs, needs 220V power, but comes with 24-7/365 customer support. Seems like no more of a gamble than buying parts from random people on Dsource.

What could go wrong?

If it sounds to good to be true it probably is.

Well shit, I didn’t know it had so many uses! Rust removal, cat sculpting, pet grooming, carpet refurbisment…. It IS a good value!

Seriously, isn't Paypal on the hook for some of the knock-off / patently misrepresented merchandise that they broker payment for?

Yeah, for sure. Opened a case with them. $43 will be ready to recover. Discover on deck if needed.

Don’t feel too bad, we ordered some F1 merch from the official F1 store and the Aston Mastin shirt my wife ordered came as a 18 month Target brand dress.
man, at least the company i bought from was shady from the get go. You bought premium and likely fell victim to mail theft.
