Anybody running a FitCam Dashcam on any of your vehicles?

I have a Wolfbox in my Grenadier which replaces the entire mirror. Records front and rear. I was thinking about putting in my Defender also.

The fitcamx looks really nice though. I wonder how the universal would view with the angle of the Defenders windshield.

I put one in my honda because the plastic molding matched the OE part I had to remove.

Fitment and install gets an A+

the software is full blown chinesium and it seems to have problems unmounting the SD card without corrupting the current days video. I havent spent a whole lot of time using the software other than capturing videos that I find amusing so it could be me doing something wrong. I do have some extra duty rewritable SD card Ive been meaning to swap in there thats supposed ti be better than the factory card about file corruption

Ordered a Fitcam from Amazon for my Tacoma. Installation took about 2 minutes. The setup was pretty easy and the video quality is adequate. You’re not going to read car plates at a distance but no judge or insurance adjuster would argue with the image itself. I’ll buy one next for the Range Rover.

Be careful without being able to read plates. I've had 3 or 4 incidents in the past few years that every single time local (and one time state) police wouldn't do anything if I couldn't read/identify both the plate and the driver.

I basically want to camera for the red light runner that I hit while coming thru the intersection on a green light. Lots of the latter here in AZ. A red light here apparently means go faster instead of stopping.
