they obviously purchased this and shipped it over over before doing any of their own work.when they actually do their own work it'll be tightly within the budget of whatever the truck sells for so you can expect them to cut corners because they have essentially turned themselves into a flat rate restoration shop which doesn't fucking exist.

It's a great model for them but a shitty model for the buyer. there's been plenty of dudes here and at the other forum who've said they have a friend importing the truck for them that owns a shop and then they end up with some polished turd that hasn't had an oil change in 15 years.

While I dont have experience with the actual vehicle, it looks like lipstick on a pig. Clear signs of corrosion coverup all over, shoddy paintwork, and anything that sports chequer plating where it shouldn't is always suspect.

Sellers total ebay identity is the parts/lipstick they bought for this truck, ie all purchases no defender sales.



On the import docs only transfer, would offer that some states will allow a vehicle transfer on just import docs, but certainly not all. Many states will require the original importer to title the vehicle instead. They arent titling it here because Virginia has become a very difficult state to title an import in, plus they avoid the sales tax.
