Any tips or advice on installing a Terrafirma Wheel carrier

Searched online and could not find any installation videos.
Any tips or advice on installing a Terrafirma Wheel Carrier P/No TF051.
Installing this on a 1992 D90.

Good looking truck. I haven't seen that wheel carrier before. I looked it up online, but can't tell how much room is between the carrier & door. Do you have to skinny your hand between the carrier & door to get to the handle?

I find it to be comfortable - once door handle unlatches I put my hand on the door to open and not the carrier. Carrier gets closer to door as it’s opening. I can take a picture or two if you’d like..

Curious because I have to remove my spare & throw it in the back to fit the bike rack. Mine has about 7" between the inner wheel on the carrier & door. I like that the Terrafirma sits closer, if it's not a hand pincher.

PMD, I just got the exact same spare tire carrier today and am about to install it. Any tips/tricks?
The install instructions are just paltry and the lack of pictures....ugh. Could you maybe attach a couple pics of how you attached the main brackets and also how the piston/slide thingy works that attaches to the rear door? Many thanks!!
