Aftermarket roof side window thoughts...

Anyone replace their Genuine but chattering, leaking, and rattling side windows with the aftermarket kit? Any reason that these would not be a respectable alternative. I am familiar with the garrison kit, but wonder even if after the install I'd be better off with a new set from britpart or bearmach. This is not an original truck, it's 91 ROW. TIA.

DA4033 - seems like its the same no matter where you buy - rimmer, rn, sp4x4, bearmach, craddock, etc.

If you're referring to replacing the whole sliding window set, just make sure it's from the right era, the curves are different.
but they are decent? the best way I can describe is the emblem on the glass almost looks like an "eye"

I haven't tried them all, but the Genuine ones just went obsolete so I guess it doesnt really matter anymore. We've sold a fair amount of the aftermarkets without issue, but there have been a couple returns

I ordered the solid ones from Masai but they accidentally sent me their sliders first. They seemed a lot better than the originals I had on my 2001 300tdi, quite solid and I even considered keeping them but my roll cage got in the way of the latches. Ended up with the solid ones finally, pretty happy with them as well.

Installed that set on a buddy’s 90. They are better than OEM. 👍🏻 Its also pretty inexpensive to just add new felt to the frame or purchase the Garrison kit. It works great too.

New to the forum and looking for some advice on this topic. I’ve got a 1995 NAS D90 and purchased OEM sliding windows through RN in Dec 2020. LH roofside assembly shipped (part #MWC 4737) and has been installed. Now LR declare these obsolete — so my RH side (MWC 4736) is unavailable anywhere. Looking for closest replacement possible - as want to maintain tint with OEM on left side. Any advice? Arrrrgh.
