Anyone know the difference between AMN711040 and AMN711200 RH cappings? RN says "AMN711200" is "Soft Top/Pickup", yet RN (and other's) photo still show bulkhead and mount holes for hard top. AMN711040 photos look the same.

040 is hardtop/SW, 200 is soft top. It's possible they're very similar if not identical, LR often offers redundant designs that can be used interchangeably. Randomly we actually just got in the AMN711040 for the owner's personal 90 build, and I have photographed it for the website. I can upload a photo here Monday when I'm back in the office that should show the difference(if any)

That would be appreciated. I’ll note the findings on lrworkshop for posterity.

Looks like different holes towards the front where the lower roll cage section would mount

one is for defenders pointed in a north-westerly direction, the other is for trucks oriented to the south-east.

Can't say anything about the hole, that's an odd one. The support tubes are the same height, just the angle of the photo

One of the biggest mistakes Land Rover ever made was discontinuance of galvanizing. Even the new model should have been made more retro with galvanized cappings. I suggest to take them to your local hot dipper. I've noticed the zinc coating from my local galvanizer is far superior to the zinc coating I've seen on parts from the UK.
