Has anyone put 3 point seat belts on a forward facing seat in a Tith? Looking for advice/pics/part numbers to install. I have exmoor lock and folds. Thanks.

Any chance you could post some pictures of what you guys did? Was this your Camel Tribute truck?

Not on out Camel Trib - was a customer truck, will have to see if we have any photos, but I don't think we took any on that project (you know how dark it is in the back of a Tithonus...

I'm the customer Brian is referring to, I used Puma third row forward facing folding seats. I had to cut the tub and rivet in some panels to make the tub match the Puma tub profile. I mounted the seatbelts on the rollcage. I put the seats in the middle of the truck. There is room behind them to mount the standard Tithonus inward facing seats. I believe I could also fit another row of Puma seats if I wanted.

I did cut out the rear bulkhead to allow for more footroom. The seats are surprisingly comfortable and an adult has plenty of head room as the Tithonus top is taller than standard.

Thanks so much for posting the pictures. I’m actually picking up my truck tomorrow and the guy already put them in so I’ll see if the seatbelts match yours as far as location. What I’m really interested in is the bulkhead removal. I’ve never seen it done on a Tith. I think I like it a lot. You mind posting some pictures of where you cut it on the side of the tub? Was it pretty easy? Are you glad you did it? Thanks again!

I was nervous about cutting about the bulkhead it as I read a lot about it affecting the lateral stiffness of the truck. However with the large roll Tithonus cage and the additional middle crossmember I think this is largely mitigated. I haven't noticed any issues.

I followed these instructions but haven't made the finishing caps yet, but plan to.

Hi looking to do the same thing to a Tith I am potentially buying. Curious to know if you've been happy with the Bulkhead removal? Have you done any significant driving, enough to notice? Also, wondering how the lock and fold forward facing seats have turned out? By chance have you put kids in them? Any insight is much appreciated. Thank you!

Apologies for the delayed response, hope this is still helpful. I am extremely happy with bulkhead removal and it hasn't caused any issues, I have done 10k miles without the bulkhead, about 1k were offroad, no issues. Forward facing seats are great for kids and ok for adults.

May do this myself eventually. Maybe re-arrange the roll bar connecting points as well. I don't see a bottom tie-in to add structural strength on the bottom. Thanks for posting.
