I watched that video earlier today. It bugged me because OBVIOUSLY a vehicle that is essentially 30 years newer is going to do better at most normal off road situations. But nothing is said of driving technique, or of airbag issues, or electronics getting confused when the driver is taught to rely on them rather than good driving. Which of those vehicles will still be driving 30 years from now?
Every time he said "This car is doing that for me...", I thought: "and that's why I don't want that car."

We should all support their channel -- it's stuff like this that will make Land Rover fix itself.

Land Rover has been at the bottom of the reliability ratings for a very long time. Why would anyone expect that to magically change this year?

The thing that shocks me is why people seem surprised but what is found out from any of these reviews. This vehicle is not something new. It is 95% the same as their other vehicles. assuming someone knows has those perform, you really should not expect much difference with this one.

I kinda did as they had freaking years to develop/test it before marketing it.
And not having a part supply established is like the 60s owning a “foreign” car in the US. You had to wait for parts to be found/delivered before service could start.
For such an important vehicle for LR, yes I thought it would be better. Hopefully this is an anomaly and not the norm.

I had a new Subaru once where the handbrake broke. I had to wait a couple of months for the repair because it turns out I wasn't the only one, Subaru decided their existing stock was defective, and I had to wait until they got new ones made. 'happens sometimes with new models.

Happens all the time with new Land Rovers
Not sure if that is a good thing. Folks are very much instant gratification and waiting for parts on a brand new vehicle probably isn’t in the mindset. Let alone needing a part on a brand new vehicle. I don’t mind waiting until Will T ships a part for my Rovers as have other vehicles to drive. Different scenario.

A lot of Land Rovers are bought back due to lemon law for being down for 30 or more days waiting for parts. Land Rover has always had supply chain issues for anything on newer vehicles
