Pardon my ignorance but, I have been wanting to go to an event for a while but have yet to find a lull in my schedule. Where and when is winter romp? Gracias
It is in Maine and ALWAYs over my wedding anniversary (Valentines Day). I so want to go but it isn't worth loosing half my stuff.

As it turns out that would work for me but I would need a little more time to go through my rig to ensure that it could make it there and back. Maybe next year or a closer event. Maine is a hike from N GA.

@ javelinadave, in your signature blank you have kitfox 6. Is that the homebuilt light sport variety or something else?

The event is on Bruce Fowler's property in Benton Maine (just ouside of Waterville, about 10-15 minutes off I95) every President's Day weekend...2/14 thru 2/17 this year. Tons of fun & good people.
Not a light sport but a home built with a 1550 gross weight. When I had my 110 I would remote camp out of it. This lets me go even more remote.

Ha! Wy wife calls the 90 "The other woman." It'd be a hard sell in my house.
I bought it built out of Nebraska. I don't have the time or the desire to build one at this point in my life. Once I retire I'll probably build something but I wanted something I could enjoy now.
So this strikes me as the more literal and correct definition of “overlanding”
With all due deference to Capt Dave's plane and desert exploration in AZ. This thread is about fellowship, snow, and cold, in Maine next week.

Never in a million years did I ever think that I would do anything but look at or ride in a historic vehicle like Oxford.
