2.5NA diesel oil cooler fittings

14j ex MOD engine.
I'm trying to find fittings to make custom oil cooler lines. (long story, factory lines won't work).
From what I can gather on the Interwebs I have the older version of the oil filter housing with adapters (NRC8618) to swivel oil cooler lines.
So, does anyone know what fitting screws on to the factory adapter, or the thread size of the adapter so that I can go to an AN style connector? I'm thinking it's a M25. Any ideas?

Why are you wanting to change to non-standard fittings?
Those fittings are cheap enough if you want to go forward with your plan. You could probably have it rethreaded to your liking at a local machine shop if there is enough metal on them.

If I can find some hose ends that fit the standard fittings, I'll go with that. Since I have the engine and not the vehicle it came with, I don't want to buy $160 worth of hoses and spend another $150 to modify them to what I need. If there's an adapter from the oil filter housing's thread to a standard fitting for $20, it lowers my costs.

Personally I’m all about simple and stock. If there is nothing wrong with the original design then why mess with it. If it’s a flawed design (V8 oil cooler lines) then substitute a modified product. I get what you want to do but is it really necessary? When I liquidated my Defender parts I gave Bob Churchill all my NA engine parts. He may have the hoses and fittings you need. A 14J isn’t a great engine to start with, most people pull and scrap them. I wouldn’t put to much money into it.

Nothing much simpler or cheaper than -AN/JIC fittings. No o rings to fail. Lines can be made @ home or by any shop pretty much anywhere. Push lock fittings are good up to around 400 psi and require no special tools, just the fitting and some hose.
