I’ve heard people potentially seeing this one on eBay or other threads before. This guy is selling and I’m just wondering peoples thoughts and if you’ve seen it around.

Yes, been for sale for many years at this point (not sure if it’s the same seller the whole time). Haven’t seen it for sale recently though. Still has WI plates in your picture.

It’s a highly customized NAS (the interior at least), which is a major knock in my book, but understand it may appeal to someone.

Anything that’s highly customized deserves a high level of scrutiny to determine the quality of the work.

What do you want to know about it?

I was curious if folks had seen it for sale before as it’s not on any of the common sites. This guy has owned it since 2015, according to carfax. It looks is pretty good shape, besides some minor surface rust in some areas. I have some good videos of him starting it and doing a walk around. The cost of these NAS seem to be all over the board.

Customizations are a matter of taste, or what overall aesthetic look you are going for. Anyone should be able to do whatever they want with their truck, but many customizations do not "age" well, while the factory look, or something close, tends to be more "timeless"--and as you get more into these trucks, you may develop a preference for more originality. Personally, I don't care for the "bling" modifications or the aftermarket seating, but have considered installing teak wood in the cargo area and a wooden steering wheel. (If it drives like a boat, maybe it should look like a boat...). People on another thread were giving me grief about wanting to install a radio with a video screen in my truck for Apple CarPlay/GPS. Also, as said above, highly customized vehicles will on average be more difficult to sell.

With all of that the checker-plate, you should always be careful about what is underneath--even though it looks more durable, it can often trap moisture underneath. You should be especially concerned about the bulkhead (firewall) area as that is structural, and a common failure point, and in trucks from outside of the US, that footwell checkerplate would be a major "red flag" (as in, what else is it hiding). If it has been resprayed, look for bubbling paint, and check the door bottoms (a common rust area). Beyond this, a pre-purchase inspection by a local mechanic is always advisable (not that I took my own advice with my trucks).

Hard to tell from the pictures but the fit and finish of such an elaborate dash looks questionable (maybe it’s just the light or angle) which would make me want to look even more closely at everything else. (And not that my own truck is anywhere close to concourse quality.)

Pics are about as good of a gauge of whether it’s in good shape as a finger painting. Don’t be that guy that talks himself into a sense of security via internet posts. Have multiple calls with the guy and ask a 1k questions. Get a gauge on the seller and decide if he’s worth taking a risk to go see, feel it, and smell it.
