1997 Defender 90 Crank Position Sensor Heat Shield

Anyone know where I can get a Crank position sensor heat shield for a 1997 NAS Defender?

Anyone know what size socket I need for the hidden bolt on the same heat shield? The easy bolt to access is 13mm. The “blind” one is supposed to be smaller but nothing I have tried works. I am for buying a nee shield and cutting out the old one at this point if it is not unobtanium.

thanks!

The little plastic shield?

Geez, seems like it's roughly 5/16ths and yes, it is a PITA ... unless you drop that exhaust out of the way.

Exactly, the plastic shield. i Pulled the exhaust, dropped the cats, etc..., just like you suggested.

I am under the truck on my back though, due to where it died, which is making it slightly more of a PITA.

i can access it but cannot seem to find the right socket to fit. I assumed metric but will try the Merican size.

The blind bolt head is 7mm. The cover was broken and fell apart when i pulled it loose. I can probably super glue this one together — anyone know the part # so I can look for a new one?
