I recently imported and registered the “White Rhino” from Australia where I was living and drove daily for three years. This was one of the best original examples I could find when I was looking to purchase back then. There is no rust on the chassis. It runs great and has a lot of power (respectfully) due to an uprated turbo with the 200tdi manifold. It was always maintained at a high standard. I would rate the door bottoms at 8/10, bulkhead 9/10, chassis 9.5/10. The interior is in good shape with a very nice headliner. It has a working a/c, cd player, and a nice canopy.
These are the items that I know about that need attention: rear main seal is leaking, surface rust on a couple door bottoms, minor surface rust on passenger footwell, windscreen is cracked, door seals are tired, oil cooler hose is showing a weep. All pretty simple fixes.
