1993 Range Rover Classic SWB ‘County Sport’ Edition – Agean Blue

Link to Auction - HERE

Now live on Second Daily Auctions is this 1993 Range Rover Classic County SWB, 1 of 200 “County Sport” editions. It is finished in the rarely seen Agean Blue over Westminster Gray leather. The seller is a self-reported lifelong Land Rover enthusiast who has made this Range Rover a documented ‘restoration’ project over the last couple years. He indicated he has decided to part with this Range Rover to make room for a D110. This RRC presents in original condition and will ship from Washington with a clean clear title in the seller’s name. Please note that the seller does have a rather extensive list of spare parts either for private sale post-auction close or if bidding exceeds $3000 over the reserve, seller will include everything (e.g. OEM Range Rover plastic fog light shields, Yakima rack, replacement front quarter panel, extra upper tailgate, misc. mechanical parts, etc.).

Location: Washington
Year: 1993
Make: Land Rover
Model: Range Rover Classic SWB
Mileage: 186k miles
Engine: 3.9L V8
Transmission: Auto
Drivetrain: 4WD
Ext. Color: Agean Blue
Int. Color: Westminster Grey
Key Features: rare County Sport edition, original clean example, only light surface front floor pan rust

Overall, this Range Rover presents very well, save a few bumps and dents and scratches seen on the body. The top clear coat is peeling as seen in the pictures. We note some small panel damage to the front passenger fender, rear driver’s side quarter, and lower rear tailgate. Some minor rust spots are seen on the upper rear tailgate which is a common issue to these trucks. We do not see any rust on the frame, door arches, or bulkhead area and it is reported to have been a west coast car. The previous owner described a low-speed parking lot collision resulting in front passenger side fender damage. Visible in the pictures is a crack in the windscreen.

Inside the leather shows some wear on the driver seat and arm rest. The carpets present clean, and the headliner has been recently refinished. The dash is complete and shows minor warping but in overall very good condition relative to most hard dashes we see. All the knobs and switches look to be in place, as does the original radio which is quite rare to see (the seller does note the controls can be finicky at times). We do not note any offending wood delamination that is usually typical. The seller in full transparency noted that the previous owner was a smoker but is certain has not been smoked in at least three years. The seller has had the RRC thoroughly detailed and has removed any traces of smell. The sunroof works and drains were checked/cleaned during the headliner refinish. The interior lights reportedly work. We note this one has the OEM rubber mats front and rear, and the rear carpet in the load area looks to be intact.
