For sale: 1992 Land Rover Defender 90 200 TDI 5 speed with 188,000 KM. Runs great. Recently had the clutch master and slave cylinders replaced. Overall, the Defender is pretty much original and has very little corrosion. Unfortunately, it also has a fair amount of body filler, especially the inner and outer fenders, doors, and RR quarter panel, all of which is evident upon close inspection. Headlight dip switch needs to be replaced according to the local 4X4 shop. Rover was purchased with the intentions of rebuilding and have found too little time to accomplish, so thought it best to allow someone else the opportunity to finish what has been started. $25000.00 OBO Located in Milton, Vermont

Yes, we took it there and had the clutch slave and master replaced as well as the headlight diagnosis.

I took a couple photos of it when I was there to send to a friend, super nice D90. Bummer about the body filling, but overall a killer deal at $25k.

Thank you for saying that. We are not Rover people and were having a hard time with the pricing. We asked Mike at 4x4 and he said the 25K was fair, so I am happy to here someone who also has a knowledge of these say that we are fair with the pricing, the filler does suck though! Cheers!

Is the body filler covering corrosion or dents? Which country was this imported from?

To the best of my knowledge the filler is due to body damage. There does not appear to be any rust behind the spots where it has been filled. The truck was imported from Spain.
