1989 DEFENDER 110 3-DOOR WITH ICARUS CAMPER CONVERSION

Imported from UK in 2017. with 95,000 miles. Clean/Clear Washington title & Registration.

~“Refurbished fuel pump” - O ring seal replaced
~New front gasket cover
~New gasket for water pump to timing housing cover
~New fan/alternator belt
~New power steering belt

5 brand new wheels (rims and tires) less than 3K miles
It has a new electrical panel with buttons with connection/wiring, two USB ports and a few USB connections conveniently hidden inside the ashtray.
~ Front and rear external flood lamps
~ Rearview camera and monitor wiring (For a new owner if installed)


Suggested Repairs Needed:
  • Odometer stopped counting at 100K about 2,500 miles ago. It is about 103K total on it now.
  • A cosmetic dent on the front left (driver’s side) of rooftop tent. Replace with two new L tracks?
  • Put back bonnet and wing chequer plates (wait until after the vehicle is painted?)
  • Install new LED bulbs for all exterior lamps (still in box unopened)
  • Repair steering pump
  • Normal surface rust on the truck under carriage, some bubbling on body panels, It's a 25-yr old Defender...

Please post pricing ($49,500 per the other post). You know better :)

That said, the Icarus top alone is $10K without install. Really great top and one that I am considering if I go that route. Very interesting truck--you really should show interior pics... GLWS!

No offense taken - pricing is a couple ways depending on purchase method - so $45k if cash/check/wire, $49,500 if CC

Way too many photos to include them all here - no door bottom photos on this truck though (New galvanized frame doors all the way around)

Should be a good camper conversion for someone to finish out with a lot of the heavy lifting done already.
