Chris, thanks for jumping in. I apologize for my part of taking this sideways. In reference to the KBryan’s question, A well cared for Santana of that era, the 1980s, (from my experience) is a nice utility vehicle you can do a lot with and will enjoy it. As far as what it is really worth, that is a tough one. I can say the value is, in my experience, less than similar condition and era British assembled Land Rovers. I will pm you some further thoughts on value.
If anyone is near Mayhill, NM this summer i’d welcome a visit and you can see a genuine Santana. It is a beautiful area with cool summer temperatures. I already owe Roverman2010 a beer and a pizza at the local brewery and while they don’t have popcorn, you’ll really like the pizza.
And finally, Chris, I do think a section dedicated to Santanas would be fantastic. However, no expectations here at all. I appreciate the site as is.
