Offered here is a very nicely modified UK Defender. Original engine, original chassis, numbers matching and a 100% US legal import! It has 146,000 miles on it and has had a significant cosmetic refresh when it was in the UK. The interior is the tan/brown fabric that is rarely seen. The 2.5L turbodiesel (19J) runs very well and the 5-speed shifts well, with the selling dealer in the UK reporting that the clutch was recently replaced.
This Defender has been repainted and modified to look like a 2015/2016 Heritage Edition and is a real attention getter. It could use a new carpet kit but it's certainly usable as is, I would just consider it more of a driver than a show queen. The chassis has been undercoated and is in good shape with chassis number clearly visible. Original RHD/right hand drive truck with the bulkhead in great shape. There is a spot of rust on the passenger door sill that is easily fixable. Some very minor bubbling on the bottom of the doors but the undersides are solid. The paint job was unfortunately not of the best quality and while it has no orange peel, there are some cracks here and there from improper prep. There are a couple leaks here and there as with most old Land Rovers. It's not without its faults, but it's a nice, driver-condition truck that you won't be afraid to enjoy.
