Right when I posted these trucks my 85yr old dad slipped and took a header off his pickup truck on his farm and broke his back. My 79yr old mom found him lying on the ground, he'd been there for hours. Their farm is about 2 miles from ours and my parents place is one of the original 1780's Virginia tobacco plantations- picture a three story colonial with lots of stairs. Not a good place for a guy with a broken back.
I had originally planned to go take pictures of these trucks but circumstances and the fact that they are 3.5 hrs away have made that impossible.
Getting pictures of the hoard from the hoarder- well its been tough. Everyone has asked for prices- I am not a retail shop, I dont deal with series trucks, i have no idea of what the market is but this is not a give away. These have significant value, not trying to get my friend ripped off. Trying to convert what he has to cash and clear his property of trucks he will never touch again in this lifetime and in the process hopefully repair/save his marriage.
I underestimated the number of people who would ask for contact me asking pictures just to satisfy their curiosity and waste my (self employed) time.If i had pictures in the begining I would have posted them to avoid the time wasters, but I didn't.
I guess the reality is anyone who didnt jump in their truck and immediately come to Virginia to look over what has turned out to be 17 plus series trucks in a guys yard is not serious.
Going to post what I have after three weeks of pleading for pictures:
Truck #1 1967 2a lhd need both frame and bulkhead repairs
